The 13th annual A Safe Place EmpoweRun/Walk 5K is a dynamic fundraising event uniting 400+ runners, friends, and supporters. Run, walk, or donate to aid survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking while supporting vital programs for Chicagoland families. Sign-in starts at 7:30am, race starts at 9am. Join us on May 3 as we tell the Trump-Musk administration: Hands Off Our Social Security! We will gather at the Waukegan Social Security Office, lining the sidewalk on Lewis Avenue and show support to those federal workers. Please note that this location does not have dedicated seating, and accessibility may be limited for folks with disabilities.

Democrats are welcome to join our next monthly meeting, at 7pm Thursday, May 8, at Adler Lodge Warming House in Adler Park, 1500 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Our meetings are casual and friendly, and usually last about an hour.
